The Under the Sea Bracelet features polished Impression Jasper gemstones, aqua Czech glass beads, and turtle charms. It is part of the Earth and Ice Collection highlighting bracelets with gemstones and glass.

These polished stones look like little Earths! They are Mardi Gras Mixed Impression Jasper, and are formed from the combination of dyed impression jasper and pyrite. The factory combines these materials using significant pressure and heat. Once formed, the stone is stable and colorfast. The colors are bold & beautiful and the inclusion of natural pyrite gives the stones a nice texture and depth.

The tranquil colors are combined with Aqua Orange Rainbow Czech fire-polished faceted glass beads and color-lined steel blue glass seed beads. Fire-polished beads are glass beads that are faceted by machine. The edges and surface are then given a softer, polished look by placing the beads in hot ovens or over open flames. By virtue of this process, fire-polished beads are all slightly different from each other; this adds to their charm. The heating polishing process gives them their soft glow and brilliance.

An antique silver-plated “pewter” (zinc-based alloy) single-sided heart toggle finishes the piece.

Added bonus! It is thought that Impression Jasper is a stone of tranquility and encouragement.
